Online Training Resources

We are in a new and rapidly changing environment. TTAP is trying to keep pace with several new pages on our website.

Many agencies across the country as well as TTAP are producing important resources to help you do your job.

Please see our Online Training page here for transportation related training topics.

We are also collecting a current list of many webinars for you. Find some of these here.

Some more resources you find useful are some locations with information specific to the COVID-19 pandemic. Find some of these here.

TTAP is Open for Business

Like many organizations, TTAP is adjusting to the "new normal." Now that more workers are returning to offices and jobsites, we are adjusting our services to meet your needs in a time of continuing uncertainty. Highlights of these changes include:

  • Online training: We're adapting our classroom training for live online delivery by splitting full day workshops into multiple sessions. Our first "Virtual Workshop", Work Zone Traffic Control/Flagging, will be spread over two days May 27 and 28.
  • Webinars: We're working on a series of webinars tackling specific technical topics. These will be presented free making it easier for you to participate. We just finished up or first one, Traffic Signal Maintenance - Reducing Your Agency's Exposure to Liability. We had a very positive response to this.
  • Technical assistance: We are still here to help Tennessee cities and counties with a variety of transportation issues. If we can help you, please contact us at TTAP@utk.edu. We will start the assistance process remotely. We aren't completely grounded, but it may take some time to schedule site visits.
  • Technology transfer: We're working hard behind the scenes to identify and share online resources you to use while working. We've added new pages to our website listing free self-paced online training, free webinars, and resources related to the effects of COVID-19 in the workplace. Start here to access some of these.
