Mark Zinn - ITS Applications Specialist

Mr. Zinn works from the Southern Lighting and Traffic Systems (SLTS) Cumming Office and resides in unincorporated Forsyth County. He is responsible for the all ITS products offered by SLTS, and oversees overall project management, coordinating with agencies and providing updates on equipment deliveries, integration and project progress. He is also responsible for configuring and installing Centracs ITS Platform, along with configuring the intersections into the system.

Mr. Zinn has been involved in the traffic industry for over 27 years. Mr. Zinn began his career in 1991 with Intersection Development Corporation (IDC), where he served as Area Sales Manager for Arizona and New Mexico, before being promoted to Southeast Regional Sales Manager in 1994. Mr. Zinn was responsible for sales and frontline support of all IDC products during his employment.

In 1996, Mr. Zinn joined Peek Traffic Systems, Inc. as VideoTrak© Eastern Regional Sales Manager where he was responsible for VideoTrak© sales in the eastern US, Canada and Europe, and also as Product Support Manager where he was responsible for all technical support, field service and customer training.

In 2001, Mr. Zinn joined AECOM as Product Support Manager where he was responsible for technical support for all their products. After Econolite acquired AECOM in 2002, Mr. Zinn continued as Product Support Manager and became an account manager in 2004, where he was responsible for sales of all products in CO, WY, ID and MT. Mr. Zinn was promoted to the Systems Product Manager of Econolite's NEMA and 2070 controller hardware and systems software (including Centracs) in 2006 and held that position for the remainder of his employment with Econolite.

In October of 2009, Mr. Zinn went to work for Southern Lighting and Traffic Systems, an Econolite distributor for Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee. He is employed as the ITS Systems Specialist and Sales Manager, and is primarily responsible for traffic systems and equipment sales and ITS support for the territory. Mr. Zinn holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Arizona State University. He is an associate member of ITE and IMSA and is Level III IMSA certified.


Bill Lietzan - Sales and Support Specialist

Mr. Lietzan resides in the Chapel Hill area and works from the Southern Lighting and Traffic Systems (SLTS) Nashville Office. He is responsible for the sales and support of all products offered by SLTS. He is also responsible for managing projects and coordinating with agencies and providing updates on equipment deliveries, integration and project progress. Mr. Lietzan has been involved in the traffic industry for over 30 years.

Mr. Lietzan began his career in 1983, working for the Indiana Department of Transportation. He worked for the DOT for 17 years in the Traffic Signal Division.

In 2000, Mr. Lietzan joined Econolite as a product support technician and was eventually elevated to Controller Support Manager, where he was responsible for managing all the controller support technicians for his last five years there.

In 2018, Mr. Lietzan began working for Southern Lighting and Traffic Systems as the Sales and Support Specialist for TN. He has been factory certified as a Centracs technician and has vast knowledge of Econolite controllers and cabinets.Mr. Lietzan grad

uated high school in 1982 and has taken many technical courses for signals and systems. He has taught many IMSA classes as well many different courses and training sessions on all Econolite products, including Centracs, Cobalt controllers, video detection, radar detection etc.
