WHAT THIS IS ABOUT

This webinar is part of TTAP’s Transportation Industry Showcase – Webinar Series.

Miovision will introduce their GenAI Agent, Mateo. The first generative artificial intelligence agent specifically trained on traffic engineering and intelligent mobility, designed to transform traffic management team’s daily reality from reactive firefighting to proactive, evidence-based management. Technology advancements present agencies with the potential to collect massive amounts of data at signalized intersections but introduced the need to make the data usable. That is where the transformative GenAI partner Mateo bridges the gap, capturing institutional engineering knowledge and automating technical workflows to provide defensible, execution-ready tasks to improve traffic operations and management.

INSTRUCTOR

Brent Rogerson

With over 17 years of experience at Miovision, Brent currently serves as the Director of Solutions Engineering, where he is dedicated to accelerating the digital transformation of traffic signal infrastructure. A specialist in Smart City ecosystems, Brent leads a team focused on delivering measurable outcomes in improved congestion, air quality, and road safety. His technical expertise spans a vast array of cutting-edge technologies, including video detection, V2X communications, cloud platforms, and adaptive systems. By integrating emergency pre-emption, transit optimization, and sophisticated signal performance analytics, he ensures that municipal agencies can solve complex urban challenges through data-driven insights. Brent is a graduate of WLU (Wilfrid Laurier University) with a degree in Geomatics, where he specialized in GIS spatial analysis and urban behavior—a foundation he uses to bridge the gap between advanced network performance and the human element of city living.
