3 Professional Development Hours can be granted for this course. No partial credit available. Attendees must attend at least 90% of each day of the workshop to get 3 PDHs.

WHAT THIS IS ABOUT

This is an onsite training session ONLY! Registration is limited to the first 30 people. To maximize the number of agencies attending the session, TTAP reserves the right to limit registration to two people per agency.

This 3-hour session will cover the fundamentals of CMU/MMU operations, troubleshooting and programming, with a focus on Flashing Yellow Arrow (FYA) operations. Once your registration is APPROVED you will receive a confirmation email with additional information from TTAP ([email protected]). This is a Tennessee Traffic Signal Users Group (TTSUG) initiative.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

Traffic signal practitioners responsible for maintenance and programming of conflict monitors.

INSTRUCTOR

Ben McCawley – Field Applications Engineer III – Synapse ITS
Ben has been working in the traffic industry for over 45 years. He started his career at Eberle Design as an Assistant Design Engineer in the mid 80’s. He took a job for the gov’t at Maricopa County Department of Transportation as a field tech and worked his way up to become their ITS System Analyst. There he designed and built the county’s first Traffic Management Center. In the fall of 2001, the City of Chandler offered him to come work for them to build their first Traffic Management Center where he worked until he retired 7 years ago. Today he is the Field Applications Engineer III Eberle Design a Brand of Synapse ITS.

This workshop is free for all participants. Enrollment is limited to 30 participants. Please register early to ensure your participation. Pre-registration is required.

Class FULL No Seats Remaining

If you cannot attend or wish to send a substitute participant to the workshop, please notify us in advance if possible. This workshop may be canceled due to low enrollment. If this situation occurs, TTAP will provide notification of cancellation at least 48 hours before the scheduled start of the workshop. If the workshop must be cancelled or postponed due to inclement weather or other circumstances beyond our control, TTAP will provide notification to all registered participants at the earliest possible time.
