WHAT THIS IS ABOUT
This three-hour training will review the benefits of ATC cabinets, look into cabinet and assembly diagnostics, provide an overview of EDI monitors, discuss the importance of electronic locks for cabinet security and present enhancements to Omni eX 3.9 for SWARCO McCain traffic signal controllers.WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

Eric Itzel, ITS Engineer SWARCO McCain
Mr. Itzel's current role is an ITS Engineer for SWARCO McCain. In this role he presents new innovations, provides extensive onsite training and performs other onsite field services to agencies across North America. He also collaborates with other technology and innovation providers in the intelligent transportation sector to better further the industry. When not working onsite Mr. Itzel works from his home office in Thomaston Maine or at the company headquarters in Vista California.
His career spans over 23 years in the combined Information Technology and Intelligent Transportation spaces. In a previous role he was the IT Administrator for the City of Sevierville, Tennessee, from 2008 to 2019. In this role he managed the IT infrastructure, including the city intelligent transportation system since 2011, and was key in acquiring and deploying new technology and innovations. He supervised the deployment and maintenance of a citywide traffic video management systems providing scaled system access to multiple city departments. He also worked extensively with vendors and City staff to build a comprehensive traffic data collection system using raw data collected from video detection technology, traffic signal controllers and other system devices to be used for short and long term planning and analytics. Internally he provided traffic central system software support, new feature testing (coordinating with the vendor), and implementation training to City staff across multiple departments.
