Since 1999, TATE has provided continuing education to engineers, planners, designers, technicians, and other personnel working in the transportation field. TATE offers a coordinated series of classes that address current topics in design, operation, and maintenance of transportation facilities.
TATE offers continuing education through affordable classes with the most relevant and updated information on standards and practices. TATE classes are eligible for Professional Development Hours. The educational principles TATE Certification delivers will help participants excel in all levels of their careers.
TATE workshop materials are an excellent source of current information for people with different levels of experience and participation in transportation; these materials may be valuable for administrators, legislators, and others involved in policy- and decision-making.
TATE Certification is valuable for local and state government employees in engineering, planning, and public works, consulting personnel, and others involved in the evaluation and design of roadway and intersection improvements. To earn TATE Certification, candidates must successfully complete an examination following the individual Core and Elective classes.
Because of changing requirements, TATE records must be reviewed to determine the current status of candidates who started the program prior to June 2007. Candidates should e-mail Frank Brewer (firstname.lastname@example.org) for further information.
